Gilbert Morris was a pastor before becoming an English professor and earning a Ph.D. at the University of Arkansas. Gilbert has been a consistent bestselling author in the Christian market for many years and one of the most prolific authors in Christian fiction with over 200 books currently in print. He and his wife live in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
Gilbert's Favorite Verse: Matthew 6:9-13 : Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
I am currently reading a Gilbert Morris book. It's about the time of the Civil War. A southern soldier makes friends with a northern soldier. I can feel my heart being ripped already. I really enjoyed the other books he has written, especially the House of Winslow series. It started with the pilgrims and went throughout US History.
